Membership Zone

Welcome to the membership area where resources for members, access to committee information, and volunteer opportunities can be found. Our standing committee pages detail contact information for each committee chair. See something you would like to volunteer to support? Use the Committee Interest form to indicate your availability and desire to get to work for a more just society!

The mission of the NAACP is to achieve equity, political rights, and social inclusion by advancing policies and practices that expand human and civil rights, eliminate discrimination, and accelerate the well-being, education, and economic security of Black people and all persons of color.

The Greater Indianapolis Branch #3053 is an all-volunteer organization formed in 1912, shortly after the national NAACP was formed. Our work today is as relevant as ever, and much more remains to be done.

We invite you to join the NAACP as a member and to attend our upcoming meetings and events. Together, we can build a community in the Greater Indianapolis area that respects the rights and dignity of all people.
